Mybid.com.au is an easy to use online shopping site selling BRAND NEW home and lifestyle products. The auction starts on a Friday and ends every Thursday evening. To see the auction duration please refer to the home page "News" or you can find duration and time remaining under the auction information of each item. The time remaining of the auction is also shown next to the item under "Ends In" this is the time remaining before the auction closes.

Please note to bid on any of the items for auction you must first register.

We receive new stock all the time, so keep watching our auctions and you're likely to get yourself a really great bargain!.

  1. First you must be registered to bid
  2. Then find the item or items you wish to bid on
  3. Click on the item title so you can learn more about the item
  4. Place your bid in the box provided
  5. Keep watching your item, you can add an item to your item watch
  6. You will be sent an email if you are outbid on your item
  7. If you win the item at close of auction you will be sent an email confirming you were the winning bidder
  8. We will contact you regarding payment and delivery
  9. Payment
  10. Pick-up or Delivery

Step 1: Go to the registration page complete the form and submit

Once you have completed the registration form you will be sent an email with a link that takes you back to the site to confirm your registration. You will need to remember your user name and password to login each time you enter the site so please be sure to remember it.

Step 2: Find the item you wish to bid on

Finding your way around mybid.com.au is fast and easy. On the home page you will see our category column on the left hand side, just click on each one to view the items in that category or go to the tab button buy an item and the same categories will appear.

Step 3: Click on the item title so you can learn more about the item

Each auction item has a picture and a title, for more information about the item, a larger image of the item or to place a bid on the item please click on the item title.

Step 4: Place your bid in the box provided

There is a box provided to place your bid amount please enter the desired amount and confirm the amount by submitting. Please observe the minimum bid requirement.

Step 5: Keep watching your item, you can add an item to your item watch

When logged in you can add items you are interested in to your item watch. There is an item watch tab above the item picture. Click on this and then you can watch your items in your control panel under item watch. You must be logged in to use the feature.

Step 6: You will be sent an email if you are outbid on your item

If the current bid amount you have submitted is outbid by another user you will be notified by email so you have the option to enter another higher amount. The bid increment is the amount by which a bid will be raised each time the current bid is outdone. It is predetermined based on the current high bid. Please refer to FAQ page for more information about increment bidding.

Remember you must raise the amount by the set minimum bid increment to increase your position and stay in the running to be the successful bidder.

Step 7: If you win the item at close of auction you will be sent an email confirming you were the highest bidder

After the auction closes you will receive an email to confirm if you were the highest winning bidder. The item title and the amount the item sold for will also be included in the confirmation email.

Step 8: We will contact you regarding payment and delivery

We will contact you 24 hrs after the auction closes to confirm payment and delivery. The phone number you provide in the registration page is the contact number we will use so please ensure this number is correct.

Step 9: Payment can be made via credit card or direct bank deposit

We take credit card payment over the phone or you can make a direct bank deposit (bank account details will be emailed upon request). Payments include the winning amount plus GST and the delivery charges if applicable. Invoices are emailed.

Step 10: Pick-up or Delivery

You can pick-up the item from Sydney, arrange your own delivery or we can arrange delivery for you at an additional cost. Please refer to our shipping page for more information.
